David Tuttle

COFOUNDER & CEO

David began his career as a U.S. Army officer, leaving active duty for the private sector and working as an investment banker covering aerospace and defense. He then returned to active military service as an Operations Officer for a Special Missions Unit within the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). Following this operational assignment, he led a software development team within JSOC. After leaving active service for a second time, David joined Anduril Industries where he led the company’s C4 business before departing to found Rune.

David holds a BS from Cornell University and an MBA from Georgetown University. He continues to serve in the New York Army National Guard.

Peter Goldsborough

Peter dropped out from the Technical University of Munich to join Facebook AI Research at age 19 after interning at Google, Bloomberg and Facebook while in university. He spent the next three years as a core developer on Facebook’s PyTorch AI team and then as senior software engineer on the Realtime Data Processing team.

Prior to founding Rune, Peter was at Anduril Industries as a founding engineer on the machine learning platform, eventually transitioning to become the lead software engineer for the C4 business and Chief Engineer for the Army C2 Next program.

COFOUNDER & CTO

Kyle Haire hails from the San Joaquin Valley of central California. After completing his undergraduate and graduate studies in Virginia, Kyle was commissioned into the Marine Corps in 2003. In twenty years of service as a United States Marine, Kyle spent half of his military career in Naval Aviation serving as an F/A-18D Weapons and Systems Officer and the latter half of his career serving in US Special Operations. Kyle served around the globe on numerous occasions and in conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Somalia.

Kyle serves as Head of Growth for Rune Technologies, a high-growth startup focusing on the Defense Technology space.
